We aren’t a “husband and wife team” in the sense that we both show up on your wedding day. But my wife is every bit a part of your wedding day because she is every part of me. I am so grateful for all she does to push us forward in life, never settling for good enough, and for most of all loving me faithfully every day. It was an honor to be selected as a preferred videographer for @thehillsideestate, and my wife and I had blast meeting so many wonderful engaged couples and others in the wedding industry this past Sunday.

Yesterday was my 37th birthday. (Let’s not talk about how I’m basically 40 if you round up). My wife and I celebrated and laughed and talked about how much life has changed in the 7 years since we’ve known each other. How much we’ve grown!
Per usual, she posed a scenario and asked an engaging question: “think about how much life has changed in the 7 years prior to us meeting. If you could talk to your 23 year old self, what would you say?” I would tell myself you’ll be married to a beautiful woman with amazing kids… And you’ll have your own successful business. To which my 23 year old self would undoubtedly reply “NO WAY I’ll have my own business, that scares me. Too risky.” It was a reminder of how much God has led and strengthened my life, turning my FEARS into COURAGE. My wife is a person of beauty and fun but also challenge and reflection and I’m incredibly grateful for this question and ultimately, that God saw fit to bring us together. #bettertogether
